British-Irish Council Annual Report 2015

23 March 2016

The British-Irish Council Secretariat is pleased to announce the publication of its Annual Report for 2015 which details the work carried out by the Council.

The previous year saw two Summits hosted by the Irish and UK Governments, two Ministerial meetings in Edinburgh, one in Jersey and a Seminar on Indigenous, Minority and Lesser-used Languages in Dublin. In addition, all twelve Council work sectors were engaged in an active programme of collaboration throughout the year.

The British-Irish Council provides a unique space and opportunity for the eight Member Administrations to discuss and collaborate on matters of mutual interest and the Council is proud to play a part in this work which brings together people across these islands.
