British-Irish Council Secretariat
The Secretariat for the British-Irish Council is staffed by officials from the Member Administrations, and operates since 2012 from a permanent base in Edinburgh, hosted by the Scottish Government. The Secretariat works in co-ordination with senior officials from across each of the eight BIC Member Administrations.
